What the video doesn't show is that Brendon aims right and then gives it his move. Also, the Jack video is fantastic as it shows that in spite of all Tiger's swing changes (groan) this sort of thing has gone on for years. Jack had a varied looking swing through his carrier. His 1978 St Andrews had him swinging extremely vertical. So much so he didn't like what it had become and worked on lowering the plane. There is over the top and there is over the plane. I think Wayne could have stuck Lietzke in as another over the top/not over the plane swinger.
